A 50's rock'n'roll weekender with a difference takes place on 26th/27th July at
the Nene Valley Railway, near Peterborough. Three rockin' bands, DJ, stalls, classic cars, free

It's good to hear that Suzy's Cafe in Algakirk, Lincolnshire is to host rock'n'roll once again. A Monday night weekly record hop is to start on 7th July. Both the Gig Guide crew have fond memories of this great little venue in the middle of nowhere. It has that real road house feel! Well worth a journey. |

Memphis Belles Rock'n'Roll Club are moving to a new venue. No longer at Bisley, as from April the club will be at West Farnborough Social Club, 25 St Christophers Road, Farnborough, Hampshire GU14 0AH. The dates and bands are still the same |

The Bewick Suite at The Swan, Maldon, Essex has been hosting
a live music jam night every Wednesday for some years. Now alternate Wednesdays
sees Rock'n'Roll night. The guest band does an opening set, the second set is open to all
musicians and vocalists to get up and perform then the guest band closes the night. This great evening has become hugely popular, drawing some very fine rock'n'roll bands to Maldon on what used to be considered a quiet night. |
